task IVA architectural & interior design director | concept SHIFT By shifting two stacked, box-like volumes, inner and outer space begin to emerge. At the front, this creates a roofed terrace of 2x6 metres; at the back, a balcony of the same dimensions. All windows and staircases follow this 2-metre shift accordingly. The focus throughout is on light and sightlines — front to back, side to side — combined with defined living corners.
